"I first met Bill, the driver for Bux-Mont Transportation, in September 2004 when our three year old son, Josh was going to be starting a new school. The school was approximately 25 minutes away from our home. We were told that transportation could be made available through the Intermediate Unit. Given the distance of the school and the fact that we had another child going to a kindergarten program starting at the same time, in the opposite direction, our options were limited. As much as I needed to accept the transportation service, I was, to put it mildly, a nervous wreck."
"When I received the information about the pick up and drop off times, I was assured that Josh would be in the best of care. Everyone that I spoke with at the Intermediate Unit and Bux-Mont Transportation was understanding and compassionate about my feelings. Bill came on his own time to meet me, "the nervous mom," meet our son, show us the transportation vehicle that would most likely be used for the trip, and discuss car seat options for Josh. Bill understood my concerns from his personal standpoint of being a dad and grandfather. Now, after several months of knowing Bill, I struggle to find a place to start in sharing my feelings for him."
"To say that Bill was my son's driver is too much of an understatement. Bill is completely professional in what he does, only with a tremendous heart. He is one of the nicest, warmest, most thoughtful people we were lucky enough to have known all these months."
