• 1/17/2017 - Congratulations Clarence Bell for being awarded $500! Clarence Bell, a driver at TransNet's partner, Valley Paratransit, was presented the Quarterly Employee Excellence Award at the employee luncheon. As part of this award, Clarence received $500 and an excellence pin for his dedication to his work, dependability, and how he interacts with the consumers. Congratulations and keep up the great work!
  • 1/16/2017 - TransNet Presented at the PPTA 2017 Winter Conference in State College! TransNet's Executive Director, Sue Kopystecki, Risk Management Director, Maria Church, and Marketing Manager, Danielle Wiley, attended the PPTA 2017 Winter Conference in State College from January 11th - 13th. As Chair of the Community Transportation Committee, Sue conducted the committee meeting informing all members of the PennDOT updates along with marketing materials and video which can be used by all to educate the consumers on the Shared Ride Program. As Co-Chair of the Safety Committee, Maria led the meeting informing the members of any updates or changes that have been implemented involving safety.   • 1/16/2017 - Celebrating a Consumer's 100th Birthday! Rose Barnes, a TransNet consumer for over 5 years, turned 100 years old! Bux-Mont Transportation, a TransNet partner, celebrates Rose's 100th birthday by giving her balloons and flowers! We are proud to be her transportation provider so she can stay active in the community and go wherever she needs to within Montgomery County as part of the Shared Ride Program. Happy 100th Birthday, Rose!

Shared Ride information and details will be presented along with a question/answer session to follow.
  • 1/12/2017 - First ICN Senior Fair Join us at the First ICN Senior Fair on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Human Service Building at 1430 Dekalb Street in Norristown from 9 am - 10:30 am. Over 20 agencies and organizations will be present to distribute information and answer any questions you may have. TransNet will be attending to share information on the various programs including the Shared Ride Program, Medical Assistance Transportation Program, and Disability Services.   • 1/19/2017 - AARP Smart Drivers Course TransNet will be presenting at the AARP Smart Drivers Course at The Peak Center in Lansdale on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10 am.
