  • 12/1/2014 - TransNet Welcomes Easton Coach As The New Owner of Norristown Transportation And Mid County Transportation As of November 1, 2014, Easton Coach Company has assumed ownership of Norristown Transportation Company and Mid County Transportation Company, from previous owner, Bonnie Geist. Easton Coach Company maintains its corporate headquarters, as well as motorcoach operations, central maintenance facility and professional support services in Easton, PA. However, the operations will remain local for Norristown Transportation and Mid County Transportation, and the change of ownership will be seamless to the provision of service.   • 12/1/2014 - TransNet Highlighted On EP-ACT Website The Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance for Clean Transportation (EPACT), highlighted TransNet, and TransNet Executive Director, Patricia Moir in their Stakeholder Spotlight, for the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles to the TransNet fleet in late 2013 and early 2014. The conversion cost of ten vehicles was partially funded through a grant from DEP in partnership with EP-ACT. Review the full Stakeholder Spotlight here .
  • 11/25/2014 - King of Prussia Mall To Offer Complimentary Shuttle Service Again This Holiday Season King of Prussia Mall has partnered with GVF Transportation and TransNet again this year to provide complementary shuttle service to holiday shoppers. The Holiday Shopper Shuttle service will begin at 4:00 AM on Friday, November 28th, and will run each Saturday and Sunday through December 21st. In addition, the shuttle will run Monday, December 22nd through Wednesday, December 24th, and Friday, December 26, 2014. Each of the shuttles will transport 20 passengers, and is wheelchair lift equipped. The shuttles will circulate nine stop locations throughout the Plaza and Court during regular holiday shopping hours (view here) .
