Meet TransNet Staff: Information Systems Coordinator, Marilyn Reilly

Marilyn Reilly, Information Systems Coordinator, has been working at TransNet for 4 years. Her primary responsibilities include handling subscriptions for clients along with processing Medical Assistance reimbursements. Marilyn says, "There continues to be a lot to learn and I find my job challenging which makes everyday different. During my free time I enjoy sewing, reading and spending time with my family."

Roseann Strang, Persons with Disabilities Manager, has worked at TransNet for 34 years in October! She started just a couple years after TransNet was established. As part of her responsibilities, Roseann attends multiple senior expos throughout the year promoting our Shared Ride Program, which gives seniors the opportunity to continue to travel to various locations within Montgomery County even when they can no longer drive themselves. Roseann says, "There is no greater satisfaction or reward in knowing every day you are helping people with their transportation needs. I also enjoy the great people I work with on a daily basis." Meet TransNet Staff: Marketing Manager, Danielle Wiley

Danielle Wiley joined the TransNet team as Marketing Manager in June 2016. In her short time, she has already made huge strides by expanding the social media platforms, updating and formulating blogs on the website, and marketing TransNet through townships, boroughs, and senior centers in Montgomery County. Danielle said, "I'm thrilled to be a part of TransNet's team! It's a very family-oriented, friendly atmosphere where everyone truly enjoys working together and consistently helps one another to complete our tasks daily." TransNet Participates in National Bike Challenge in August!

TransNet along with their partners, Bux-Mont Transportation, Main Line Transit, Mid County Transportation, Norristown Transportation, Tri County Transit and Valley Paratransit, are participating in the National Bike Challenge through the month of August. This is a friendly competition between the various locations to encourage sustainability, healthy living, exercise, fun and comradery. In order to encourage more participants, each participant with the most # of miles in August at each location will win a $50 restaurant gift card and the location with the highest % of participants will receive a pizza party!

2016 Roadeo was a Success!

Congratulations to our drivers who not only participated in this year's Roadeo but who also placed among the top 6 out of 19 drivers! 1st place winner, James Downam, Norristown Transportation and 3rd place winner, George Johnson, Bux-Mont Transportation will be competing in the National Roadeo in Detroit June 2017. Meet TransNet Staff: Customer Service Manager, Karen Schwemmer

Karen Schwemmer, Customer Service Manager, has been working at TransNet for 12 years! She knows what it takes to speak with our consumers, help them make appointments and keep them happy. Karen says, "I love the support I receive from Management and my co-workers here at TransNet. Everyone is willing to help each other and work together as a team to make accomplishments." She enjoys going out with friends and family, traveling, reading and walking.
