Meet the Board of Directors: Crystal Gilchrist, Principal Transportation Planner, Montgomery County

Crystal Gilchrist, Principal Transportation Planner at Montgomery County Planning Commission (MCPC), became a member of the TransNet Board of Directors in January 2015. She will be a member of the board for 2 years this January. As a transportation planner for Montgomery County, Crystal helps manage the roadway construction projects that the county is sponsoring. She also coordinates with the municipalities regarding roadway improvements required for land developments and she completes land development reviews.

Crystal says, "The services TransNet coordinates for our citizens is essential to the quality of life for the people who rely on it. Montgomery County has many services available to help people have a better life but if you cannot access them, they are not very useful. TransNet connects people with services."

During Crystal's "free" time, she enjoys spending time with her three children who are of school age and gardening.
