Meet the Aides Monday: Lisa Ridley, Aide at Tri-County Transit

Lisa Ridley, vehicle aide at TransNet's partner, Tri-County Transit, has been with the company for two weeks. Her primary responsibility is transporting children to and from school. Helping children receive the education they need is a very important job, and Lisa takes pride in being part of it. Being able to help the consumers start their day off on a positive note, whether it be with a smile, a warm greeting, or a conversation on how their day is going, is what Lisa enjoys most about her job. The best experience that Lisa has had during her job was when a child she was transporting reached out to hold her hand from their car seat, and she could see the trust that the child had in her. During her "free" time, Lisa enjoys historical reenacting, decorating, and reading.
